School Education – National Song “Vande Mataram”, composed by Shri Bankim Chandra Chatterjee in 1875 – Decided to commemorate 150 years of Vande Mataram through year-long activities across the country from 7th November 2025 to 6th November 2026 – Certain instructions issued – Reg.

ORDER:

The attention of all Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers / District School Educational Officers, DIET Principals, and Additional Project Coordinators is invited to the references cited above, and they are hereby informed that the Government of India has decided to commemorate 150 years of Vande Mataram through year-long activities from 7th November 2025 to 6th November 2026.

Accordingly, all schools under the Department of School Education are instructed to conduct the following activities:

1	Mass singing of Vande Mataram to be organized and same recorded.	Mass singing of Vande Mataram across the country to be organized on 7 November 2025.
2	Year-long programme	For students’ outreach activities like special assemblies dedicated to Vande Mataram, essay competitions, debates, poster making, etc., to be organized in schools and educational institutions across the country. Vande Mataram music programmes to be organized by bands of schools and educational institutions, NCC, etc., in campuses across the country. Display of exhibition on Vande Mataram to be put up across all educational institutions in the country.

Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers / District School Educational Officers, DIET Principals, and Additional Project Coordinators of the State are instructed to give wide publicity and ensure active participation of students, teachers, and staff, and take necessary action to make the programme a grand success.

1875లో బంకిమ్ చంద్ర చట్టర్జీ గారు రచించిన “వందేమాతరం” గీతం భారత జాతీయ గౌరవానికి ప్రతీకగా నిలిచింది. ఈ గీతం 150 సంవత్సరాలు పూర్తయిన సందర్భంలో, భారత ప్రభుత్వం దేశవ్యాప్తంగా ఏడాది పొడవునా ప్రత్యేక కార్యక్రమాలను నిర్వహించాలని నిర్ణయించింది. ఈ సందర్భంగా 2025 నవంబర్ 7 నుండి 2026 నవంబర్ 7 వరకు ప్రతి విద్యాసంస్థలో వివిధ సాంస్కృతిక, విద్యా కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహించాలన్న ఆదేశాలు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ పాఠశాల విద్యాశాఖ విడుదల చేసింది.

విద్యాశాఖ డైరెక్టర్ శ్రీ విజయరామరాజు వి, ఐ.ఏ.ఎస్. గారు జారీ చేసిన ఉత్తర్వుల ప్రకారం, అన్ని పాఠశాలలు నవంబర్ 7న వందేమాతరం గీతం సమూహగానం కార్యక్రమాన్ని ఘనంగా నిర్వహించాలి. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో విద్యార్థులు, ఉపాధ్యాయులు, సిబ్బంది అందరూ పాల్గొనాలని సూచించారు. ఈ సమూహగానం రికార్డు చేసి జిల్లా విద్యా అధికారులకు పంపవలసి ఉంటుంది.

అదేవిధంగా, ఈ ఏడాది పొడవునా వందేమాతరం గీతం ప్రాముఖ్యతను విద్యార్థులకు తెలియజేయడానికి వివిధ సృజనాత్మక కార్యక్రమాలు చేపట్టాలని సూచించారు. వ్యాసరచన పోటీలు, వాదప్రతివాద పోటీలు, పోస్టర్ మేకింగ్ పోటీలు, కళా ప్రదర్శనలు, సంగీత కార్యక్రమాలు వంటి వాటిని ప్రతి పాఠశాల మరియు కళాశాలల్లో నిర్వహించాలి. విద్యార్థుల దేశభక్తిని పెంపొందించే లక్ష్యంతో ప్రత్యేక సభలు మరియు ప్రసంగాలు కూడా ఏర్పాటు చేయాలి.

అదనంగా, వందేమాతరం గీతానికి సంబంధించిన ఎగ్జిబిషన్‌లు, పోస్టర్లు, చరిత్రాత్మక ప్రదర్శనలు అన్ని విద్యాసంస్థల్లో ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని సూచించారు. అలాగే, NCC, NSS మరియు పాఠశాల బ్యాండ్ల ద్వారా వందేమాతరం సంగీత కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహించాలి.

ప్రాంతీయ సంయుక్త డైరెక్టర్లు, జిల్లా విద్యా అధికారులు, డైయెట్ ప్రిన్సిపాళ్లు మరియు సమగ్ర శిక్ష ప్రాజెక్టు అధికారులు తమ పరిధిలోని పాఠశాలల్లో ఈ కార్యక్రమాలను విస్తృతంగా ప్రచారం చేయాలని ఆదేశించారు. విద్యార్థులు, ఉపాధ్యాయులు, తల్లిదండ్రులు అందరూ చురుకుగా పాల్గొనేటట్లు చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని తెలిపారు.

ఈ వేడుకల ద్వారా విద్యార్థుల్లో దేశభక్తి, ఐక్యత, గౌరవభావనలను పెంపొందించే అవకాశం ఉందని డైరెక్టర్ పేర్కొన్నారు. వందేమాతరం గీతం మన దేశ సంస్కృతి, గౌరవం మరియు స్వాతంత్ర్య భావనకు ప్రతీకగా ఉన్నందున, ఈ ఉత్సవాలను ఘనంగా నిర్వహించాలని అన్ని పాఠశాలలకు పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
